Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Faculty of Dentistry was founded on 29/05/2017 by the decision of the Council of Ministers No. 10404 and started undergraduate education in 2019 with 41 students.
A student oriented and problem-solving based education has been carried out in our faculty. Dentistry education is 5 years in total; first three years consist of preclinical primary education and the last two years consist of clinical education and practice. Preclinical education includes not only theoretical training on basic medical sciences and profession of dentistry, but also practical training in laboratories. Practical applications of preclinical education are carried out in phantom laboratories.
